During the week, Year 4 have been continuing to explore science, looking at vertebrates and invertebrates by exploring the school grounds to see what creatures they could find. This led on from their trip to Hamsterley forest, where students explored animals’ habitats and investigated the nature around them with thought and curiosity. They have also been monitoring the decay of the egg shells based on what comes into contact with them and they were fascinated by the results! Finally, they have been looking at Fantasy inspiration from the Mysteries of Harris Burdick, discussing what might happen within each picture – this was a great part of the week which saw their imaginations shine!
