Year 3 Geography Visit and Learning
This week, Year 3 have been continuing their geography work, focusing on the River Wear and the River Gaunless that both flow through Bishop Auckland. We walked to see the point where the River Gaunless goes into the River Wear and learnt that this means the River Gaunless is a tributary. We were fascinated on our walk by all of the natural world around us and asked lots of great questions. We were shocked to see the amount of litter in and around the river and have decided to write letters to our local MP (Dehenna Davison) about this issue.
