Year 3 have been working on our DT topic of making bunting. The design criteria was to create bunting that would help young children learn to count. We evaluated existing bunting, created our own designs, practised a running stitch and then brought all of our skills together to create our own piece of bunting. We had to cut the material, make pieces to create the design and then use a running stitch to join the fabric. Here are some of our brilliant finished pieces.
