Y6’s Amazing Start

Article 28: You have the right to a good quality education.

Year 6 have made an excellent start to their new school year. We have started the year focusing on our English and Maths basic skills. After reading ‘The Barnabus Project’ on transition day we continued this in our first week back by creating our own misfit creatures using clay. We also had lots of fun in music using musical notation and the glockenspiels to play a familiar nursery rhyme. This week we have begun our new Geography topic – The Americas. We have completed our own fact files using research to compare different locations in America.
