This week we have been building structures called ‘Pavilions’. The children practised first using matchsticks and plasticine to create a structure that had a strong, firm base. They had a lot of fun and worked hard in their teams to make sure that their structure was stable and free-standing. Their next task was to use these skills to design and build a more sophisticated Pavilion around a theme using a variety of different materials to make their structures look fabulous.
