We enjoyed a wonderful day celebrating World Book Day across school. We invited children to come to school ‘Dressed as a Word’. Many thanks to parents and carers for the effort and thought put into the amazing costumes and outfits that we had in school. Children and staff enjoyed a ‘Vocabulary Parade’ to show off all the amazing outfits within assembly as well as a range of activities across the day. We also invited children to join in our ‘Book in a Box’ competition. The entries that children had created were extremely impressive and classes enjoyed looking at the entries across the day. Children from across school took part in a Treasure Hunt Quiz on the playground over playtime and lunchtime. Take a look at the photographs below-I think you will be impressed!
