This week Year 4 have been learning about the digestive system, starting by looking at all of the different body parts which make up the digestive system and learning about their functions within the process. They also used laptops to do some pair work, researching which parts of the digestive system go where and labelling them as well as identifying their function – they did a fantastic job at this. They also had fun looking practically at the process of the digestive system using solids, fluids and tights to show how the stomach, small and large intestines work – this was pretty sticky and gooey, but they all had amazing fun!
