This week in Year 6 we enjoyed a day trip to Hamsterley Forest. It was a very drizzly day but we had lots of fun walking around the forest before being set the challenge to create a den made from using resources already on the ground. We were then scored in groups based on teamwork, creativity and stability. Some of us went all out by creating rugs made from leaves, washing lines and even chandeliers inside the dens! After this, we enjoyed some free time playing in the park.
