Starting our History work this week, we have been looking at timelines in the Stone Age dating back to 2-3 million years ago up to the Bronze Age [5000 years ago]. We have also been looking at myths and legends, focusing on the Girl and The Fox and then thinking about writing our own myths and legends. In Maths, we have been looking at all the lines of symmetry in a shape – this led to some interesting discoveries – like a circle has an infinite amount of lines of symmetry! Finally, finishing off music, we had the change to try out some of our melodies on the xylophones.
